• Colton Cumbie (Survivor: One World) with his fiance, Caleb

• Gervase Peterson (Survivor: Borneo) with his niece, Marissa

• Tyson Apostol (Survivor: Tocantins, Heroes vs. Villains) with his girlfriend, Rachel

• Candice Woodcock (Survivor: Cook Islands, Heroes vs. Villains) and her husband, John

• Kat Edorsson (Survivor: One World) with her boyfriend, Hayden Moss (Big Brother Season 12 winner)

• Monica Culpepper (Survivor One World) and her husband, Brad Culpepper (former NFL player).

• Aras Baskauskas (Survivor: Panama winner) and his brother, Vytas

• Rupert Boneham (Survivor: Pearl Islands, All-Stars and Heroes vs Villains) and his wife, Laura

• Laura Morett (Survivor: Samoa) with her daughter, Ciera

• Tina Wesson (Survivor: Australia winner, All-Stars) and her daughter, Katie

The theme for this season is returning survivor players versus their family members on the opposing tribe. When I heard about this, I thought they would be playing in pairs on teams but this twist was a welcome surprise. Redemption Island is back with the duels. I'm not a fan of that at all. I would have preferred exile island but we'll see how this plays out.

Merissa's should have fought more. She knew they were playing the "family member" card so she could have brought up that Katie and Cerie (?) got spanked by their mothers. She could have said that Caleb may be as bigoted as his partner Colin and or that Culpepper is already about protecting his wife even though they are on opposing sides. Plus I don't want to see that fat ass leave so soon.

Gervais was terrible on that swim but that pop off was lovely. That vote was BS but we'll see how the duel works since there are three people. I hope Culpepper (male) gets the boot as well as Candace's husband and Colin for that matter. All that crying he and everyone else doing was a work. I don't buy it for one second. I thought about not watching but this was a good episode. I'm back in. What are your thoughts?

This should be a good season. I'm looking forward to seeing Hayden dominate. I'm also keeping an eye on Aras. I hated him in his original season, but he has been great on RHAP.

Its the same game as Big Brother, buts its done in the outdoors on a remote Island. The only real difference is they start off with two different tribes, then they merge into one tribe where its then an individual game like Big Brother. Its edited better. If you like Big Brother you should like Survivor, because they are basically the same show.

Gervais pop off was lovely? What!? All he did was put a target on his back.
Lovely as in hilarious. Things like that are always funny to me. If anything he inadvertently put a target on his niece which is a BS reason by the tribe. Culpepper is a hoe for that. She wasn't anywhere near the puzzle and she should have fired back with anything that I listed in the OP. I won't front. I'm just waiting for the merge and hoping that strong competitive players comprise the tribe at that time.

I'm a huge fan of Survivor and I recommend that you take a look at some seasons. Pretty much everything from season 6 on is gold. There aren't many duds except for One World which was three seasons back not counting this one.

The first 3 seasons were awful. It wasn't really a game then. Season 4 is when people really started to figure out how to play it.

Who is your favorite player?
Who do you think is the best player?
Which season is your favorite?

Accusing anyone of being a racist when you don't have proof is never a smart move. She should have thrown one of the girls working the puzzle under the bus.

You have to remember when the game starts you look for any reason to target someone to make sure that it isn't you that's going home. Happens all the time.

I see what you are saying but I'm not sure I explained that point well enough. What I'm saying is that she could have brought it up as part of why guilty by association doesn't work. For one, I never would have said that I was guilty by association in the first place. She could have said judging me by my uncle's actions could be akin to accusing Caleb of sharing the same bigoted, racist mentality the Colin displayed last time. Your second sentence is spot on but she didn't shift the cross hairs when she obviously had other targets to put up.

I can't answer the first question because I'm much more a fan of the game itself than individual players. I do favor people who perform physically but I'm starting to not care about that as much now.

As for best players, I'm all over the place. Russell was great his first two times. There were better players in much earlier season. Colby was a great player. Ozzy. There are many females who played clutch games as well. For all the crap I talk about Colton, he had them all shook his first time. Yul and Coach.

Another tough one. Cook Islands, Exile Island, China, All Stars, Amazon, Palau, the first Fan Vs Favorties & South Pacific to name a few.

Cook Islands is my favorite season, but you like All-stars? That's One World all over again.

Disagree with you on Colby, he was a great competitor his first season, but he was never a strategist or manipulator.

For best players I would go with Kim Spradlin, Cirie, Parvati, Boston Rob and Russell Hantz.

Ozzy is my favorite player, but he is such a bad strategists, I can't rank him among the best ever. I like Malcolm from last year too.

Disagree with you on Colton. He was like Amanda from Big Brother this year. His social game was too bad to ever be a truly great player. Coach was only good his third time around.

I haven't seen All-Stars since I saw it but I don't remember it being bad. Might queue it up. You think Cirie was a best player? I don't remember her making many moves outside of helping Erik to off himself. Russell got a raw deal with the introduction of "duels". Poor Ozzy and I agree about Malcolm who I forgot about. Denise is another player that I favor now that her season is over. A little bit of luck kept her in but she came through.

Colton has a bad social standing with everyone but they were shook. He also got had the hidden immunity idol before he was taken out. You say Coach was only good on his third time around which I kind of agree with but you listed Boston Rob who let Amber win the first time, fumbled the second time, lost the third and just won on his fourth. He's good but I can't put him as best with a record like that.

How do you think the duels will work with three competitors? Does only one win and go back to their tribe and two people go home? Maybe one wins and rejoins with second place staying
