The Wrong Side of the Tracks

This study provides evidence that the increased risk of death from COVID-19 is not limited to the initial episode of COVID-19, but a severe episode of COVID-19 carries with it a substantially increased risk of death in the following 12 months. In fact, the risk of 12-month mortality among adults under 65 who are hospitalized with COVID-19 is increased by 233% over those who are COVID-19 negative. Nearly 80% of the downstream deaths among patients with COVID-19 were for causes other than respiratory or cardiovascular. Since these deaths were not for a direct COVID-19 cause of death among these patients who have recovered from the initial episode of COVID-19, this data suggests that the biological insult from COVID-19 and physiological stress from COVID-19 is significant.

Likely because they have a strong immune system.

but that directly contradicts the article, which says most of the people in this study who passed after having severe covid didn't pass from cardiovascular or respiratory illness that could be fought by your immune system

the simplest answer here is also the most likely and the most commonly supported, which is that if you're likely to contract covid and have a severe case you most likely have some combination of symptoms already bringing you close to the edge

in effect this isnt really saying much outside the fact that a severe case of illness has severe consequences

"More likely to die within a year"

For an illness that was discovered in 2020. People out here trolling Statistics and people eating this up

:dead::dead::dead::dead::dead::dead:

they took a time machine to the future, concluded the study and came back with the results.

Naturally they forgot to bring the cure
