They taste nothing like each other :what:

I made a pumpkin pie last year just to see how it tastes. I don't know why people even bother making it.

You'd be surprised at how many people wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The recipes are pretty much the same and texture is the same.

It really could just be me but they have truly always tasted the same to me.

Pumpkin pie sucks, what makes it redeeming is the spices. Pumpkin is basic as hell but put those spices on bomb ass sweet potatoes and that pie will have you like
raw

Me or @CinnaSlim will make you one. What you are saying is blasphemous @Kex

The 2 veggies (or whatever they are) have completely diff tastes. I do use almost the same ingredients in them though :ehh:

I can tell the difference, but you’d be surprised at how many people can’t tell the difference. I’ve made both before. The one thing I am 100% confident in saying I’m good at in life is cooking/baking. I spent way too much money on culinary school to not be good at it. But if either one of you ever want to make me a Sweet Potato Pie I won’t complain unless it tastes like shyt.

Anyone who's had tons of pie can tell the difference is consistency... Pumpkin is hard but smooth sweet potato is alot more softer and tastes a bit diiferent.
