It served a very specific purpose during a history-defining moment in history (pandemic, quarantines, etc) that will likely never happen in our lifetimes again. Last comparable event was literally 100 years ago. Swizz and Timbo's refusal to acknowledge that always struck me as weird. You hit at the right time and now that right time is over. So you gotta do something else. Even the tour idea made zero sense because why wouldn't artists just do their own tours (or hop on a festival) instead of giving Versuz control of their performance schedules.
