I didn't like that SZA joint until I doing research one night, shyt really hit different on a late night read versus late night drive.
Don't know what she's saying most of the time, she almost has a jazz singer's cadence and it flows well on most of her new tracks.
Out of all these mumble singers, SZA seems to have the style on lock.
Never been into Snoh Aalegra, Pharrell has always been a hit/miss producer to me.
SZA is pushing the boundaries in her vocal approach where Snoh Aalegra is stuck on a certain way she should be singing.
Snoh Aalegra's voice doesn't hit me like an R&B singer's should.
It's almost like she's performing R&B, something about her artistry doesn't seem authentic.
Both beats are by The Neptunes, SZA rode it better.
Her cadence gave the track more character, especially for how minimal it is.
