There are only two sides of Detroit that's East & West

Southwest is a neighborhood on the West side just like the North End is a small neighborhood on the East side. But SW is so far down bottom its seperated from most of the city since its at the very bottom.

The Hole (Boynton) is a small section at the bottom of SW and is called the hole because its literally a dead end neighborhood, Only one way in and one way out, its bounded by Schafer Hwy to the south, I-75 to the East, The Rouge River to the North, and Bassett Street to the East. It's literally only 9 city blocks so everybody knows everybody over there.
