He's still a rapper, but right now, T.I.'s movie career is taking center stage.

T.I. is heading back to the big screen alongside Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart.
Deadline Hollywood reportsthat the Atlanta rapper-actor will play Hart’s cousin, Joaquin, in the film “Get Hard,” which tells the story of Ferrell’s millionaire fraudster character preparing to head to prison.
The movie, due next year, will be directed by Etan Cohen, who did the screenplay for "Tropic Thunder" and wrote "Men in Black 3."
T.I. has been steadily adding to his IMDB credits with a stint in last year’s Atlanta-filmed “Identity Thief” with Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy; a recurring role on Showtime’s “House of Lies”; a well-regarded turn on the acclaimed (albeit, canceled) Kelsey Grammer drama “Boss”; and, of course, on his own reality show, “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle,” which has its fourth season premiere on VH1 at 10 p.m. Monday, March 31.
The rapper is apparently bringing his theatrical influences to his music career, too. He’s been working on the follow-up to 2012’s “Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head” and in December told RapFix Live, "All I'ma say is, it's gonna be a motion picture, it's gonna be a theatrical-worthy title. Something that will definitely seem instant classic. I'm thinking something like “Trap Champion,Paperwork,” but whatever it is the subtitle will be ”The Motion Picture."
