Never thought this album would spawn a whole sound. "Bu, bu, but modern trap music doesn't sound like anything like this album". Modern rap sounds nothing like what it sounded like 50 years ago. Doesn't change anything. Without T.I.'s Trap Muzik there would be no reference and we wouldn't be calling it trap. This album paved the way for Gucci and Jeezy. It was also a pivotal album in ATL's dominance. It was a part of the snowball effect that started with Lil' Jon's "Get Low" and from there it was a whole summer of crunk, then T.I.'s Trap Muzik, then Kast's Speakerboxxx/Love Below, and then you had ATL pretty much dominating music considering Usher's monster 2004, Ciara debuting that same year, T.I. got bigger, Luda was still huge. Just crazy.
