"My Life" is a super underrated track in the Tipsters discography tho

T.I. Vs. T.I.P. had very solid production, but the song writing was mediocre. You get the impression that it’s supposed to be a concept album, but the lyrics rarely reflected that. And when they did, it just felt like T.I. fukked up the vibe on a good beat.




This song here is a good example of what’s wrong with the album. This could have easily been a SMASH but instead he used that amazing beat to have an awkward conversation with himself

I thought the album was solid. Could have been a near classic had it been skimmed down….and also if some of the Just Blaze produced tracks that were suppose to be on it had their samples cleared.

Help with the original Barry White sample was a banger, but the estate would budge.

I agree. Seemed like was too comfortable here (he was on top of his game the year prior) and put it on cruise control for this album. The writing isnt as thought provoking as his previous albums (Trap Muzik, Im Serious) It kind of sounds like a watered down King to be honest (lyrically he was kind of lax too, there are flashes of phenomenal writing on that album though).
