The mid 2000s nostalgia :to:

He may have been a choker and an injury prone lazy eyed demon, but I miss having him on 2k8 and watching him play in the regular season :to:

as a huge t-mac fan back in the day... i get so mad hearing him say that he never had the extra talent..

he was a superstar and numerous times he said it was on him if they don't make it out of the first round.

Biggest problem was that he was always talk but when it was time to really walk the walk, he couldn't do it. Then he blamed other people surrounding him.

Doubt he will find success with the Spurs. They will most likely lose in the first round. And look at the way he was gassed doing that interview. He was huffing and puffing. Don't expect a lot of minutes from him either.

Poor t-mac...one of my favorites and now he's a bench warmer.

Dude always blame his surrounding. He always care about himself. WHen Artest was there, he left midseason to have surjury adn treat his injury. An injury that doctors said he couldve wait til after the season to treat. Aderlman even said so during an interview.
That right there is TMac in a nutshell. He complains about his surounding and then in the season where he had his best support(finally a true complimentary option in Artest to him and Yao and a great cast in Wafer, Landry, Scola, Mutumbo and Battier. He coluldve really been apart of something special and Houston couldve won it all that year.

Instead he chose to to rehab himself and get his body right for the final year of his contract.

Sadly, TMac was just a real loser. I dont even get mad at him. I feel pity for him. Best of luck to him with the Spurs.

T-Mac probably is HOF bound right now if Tim Duncan joined him in Orlando or if Grant Hill been healthy.

He was surrounded by garbage in Orlando

He was on the radio a few weeks back and said that was the team that could have did damage. Here's the interview

not to mention in 05 and in 07, he had Yao. Arguable the most dominant center between 04 to his retirement. In 05, his team loses by 40 points in the 7th game, and this after being up 2-0 and playing the next 3 of the next 5 games at home. He proceeds to lose both games at home (no superstar would have allowed that), and then wimps out in the one of the most important game of his career.

Then in 07, again his team up 2-0 with homecourt advantage. They lose game 7 at home. This after claiming that if his team loses, it's on him.

T-mac had the talent, but never the drive to be GOAT. He cared more about what people thought about him, hence why he always talked about passing the first round.

His career was so bad that his only hope was just getting out of the first round. No talk of championships, finals, or even conference finals. In every interview, i just want to be out of the first round.

Straight up loser mentality.
