Legere proves yet again he is the “Un-CEO”, gets thrown out of AT&T’s party at CES


Last night, long after I’d gone to bed, John Legere decided he’d crash the AT&T party at CES 2014. The party was being thrown by AT&T for its developers at the Palms Hotel. According to a quick chat with Re/code, he “just wanted to hear Macklemore”, and wasn’t looking to make a scene. Although he did arrive with an “entourage” of other Tmo execs.

It didn’t take long for him to get noticed and he was promptly removed from the party.

““All of a sudden these gigantic goons said ‘Can I talk to you over here,’ ” Legere said, in an interview outside the Venetian hotel later on Monday, adding that he was told that if he didn’t leave immediately he would be charged with trespassing. Legere said he was also escorted from the premises.”

Ironically, at the same time, AT&T Mobility CEO Ralph De La Vega was at an Audi keynote announcing that his carrier had secured a deal with the car manufacturer to replace T-Mobile as its wireless service provider.

I have to say, I’m not surprised he was thrown out. Barely a week goes by on Twitter without Legere taking a swipe at AT&T. John Legere, I’m sure, is hoping that none of AT&T’s execs decide to crash his party tomorrow, as T-Mobile announces its plans for Un-carrier 4.0.

Audi deal is a loss but in the grand scheme of things its not a huge loss. Att is scared of T-mo

Breh...at&t is scared shytless of T-Mo. They just bought a ton of spectrum from Verizon and they have way higher data caps and the same coverage in major metropolitan areas. I only switched to them recently to save bread on my bill and get a GSM phone. But I'm about to switch to T Mo very soon.

Why do you think they are offering people 450 to switch from TMo??

Exactly! They are losing customers to them. They still salty that could not buy them. Than T-mo turned around and used their money to build a 4g lte network lol They pissed!

They lost their deal with Audi but some how, the 1st quarter in the history of T-Mobile had more new customers than AT&T and some how AT&T is worried and about to be AOL status

Audi obviously thinks AT&T is good enough to switch to them, but according to the coli, AT&T is gonna be a dead company soon

even though its one of the oldest companies in the entire world


someone even said AT&T bought spectrum from Verizon what in the entire fukk AT&T cell service wont even work on Verizons spectrum
