It is bad agents and listening to the teams that they play for. Often times the team or owner will recommend the agents once the player has been in the league for awhile. But the owner or management is making side deals with the agent. The agents recommend the financial advisor, real estate agent, PR person, car dealer and etc.

So overall it is a big money scheme/pyramid scheme with everyone making side deals and sucking the athlete out of their money. Not only that but many of the women the dudes deal with are connected to those same people I mentioned above.

It's not the agents. The agents are the ones that help generate income. It's the accountants, lawyers and financial analysts. They do the behind the scenes work players either ignore or neglect because it's like another job or being in school.
