Word, like anyone gives a fukk about how "autotune technology" works.
i think t-pain has every right to make these comments. i mean he did invent auto-tune.
T-Pain is right, auto-tune was used before him, Britney Spears and a slew of other pop acts were using auto-tune before him. I know because I use to engineer
auto-tune was created to put bad singers on key, that's why you have pop singers who make good studio records but suck live.
The robot effect happens when your so bad at singing, it tries to pitch correct the best it can, your suppose to manually put the person on pitch, I had a frequency chart and everything for every key.
Auto-tune was never meant for you to sound like your singing through fan, T-pain made that popular, but at least he did good enough where it was a solid pitch
Future sounds like how Lil Wayne used it, which is wack, he would sound better without the autotune.
