Tabs closing when being opened

I use Chrome and I open various tabs at once when I'm browsing on here. This morning I tried opening a few threads in new tabs. The tab would appear at the top of my browser, but then immediately close (the tab, not the browser or the main Coli tab I'm on). Doing it again tonight. It seems to do it at random because some threads I can open in a new tab.

Anyone having this issue? Is it an issue with Chrome? I don't have problems opening new tabs on any of my other usual sites.

I use Chrome myself and it has been happening to me as well. But I don't know if it a Chrome problem

site is becoming unusable with this and the occasional error messages

Was having this same issue ealier..
Do you use ad-block? Disabling my old one and then installing a new one seemed to fix it
