Yep and there are probably former NBA players over in places like Greece or Lithuania who are more skillful and maybe 5 or 10 yrs younger, but some of these teams are looking for the old, wise vets on the end of the bench. Don't have to give them minutes and they won't complain about not getting minutes

Probably needed a check or his wife wanted him out of the house and had a good relationship with someone in management or the coaching staff so they hooked him up.

People who provide good vibes and positive work experiences outlast the value their skillset warrants across all industries. This doesn't surprise me one bit based on what teammates and prior coaches have said about him. And Dwight pining for another shot while Taj gets opportunity after opportunity further accentuates the point.
