The lieutenant trafficker was also a Contra, and the CIA knew that there was an arms-for-drugs shuttle and did nothing to stop it.[15]

The report stated that the CIA had requested the Justice Department return $36,800 to a member of the Meneses drug ring, which had been seized by DEA agents in the Frogman raid in San Francisco. The CIA's Inspector General said the Agency wanted the money returned "to protect an operational equity, i.e., a Contra support group in which it [CIA] had an operational interest."[15]

Funny how they making a movie to defend this mans honor and clear his name yet we have no movies to clear the names of all the Panthers who were set up and assassinated,and hooked on drugs as a product of the communites being flooded.....that's the movie I wanna see that shows the strength and pride of the panthers....they got plenty budget for movies where we play maids and slaves though

Black people have been saying that the government is responsible for the destruction of the black community and cacs and c00ns were in denial. Once a white man said what black people have been saying all along...all they can say is RIP Gary Webb and will turn around and still shyt on black people. What the CIA did is an act of war...a civil war conducted on black communities and its people. There was a Civil War that These communities need lawyers to sue the US government for billions of dollars and free black men locked up for drug related offenses, providing them with job training and jobs upon release to rehabilitate their lives. This is a human rights issue and the US government needs to be held responsible.

What's crazy is they are making a movie focusing on the person who reported the story and the personal troubles he faced and not focusing on the story itself and the troubles MILLIONS of people suffered because of it. This society disgusts me.

You know them boys were funneling drugs into our communities. You don't need to be a Oxford scholar to know nikkas in the hood don't know no muthafukkas in South America. We don't own planes, we damn sure wasn't growing that shiit ourselves, we didnt even know where to begin to find a connect. That shiit started with the CIA, white gangs and the mob pushing heroin/crack/coke into black areas to one, destroy us and two, because they saw the money in it but, they didn't want to fukk up their own communities. So to the nikkas they went. The black dealers just pushed them out overtime and figured out how to do it themselves. But that first muthafukka who started it was a white man.
