Bo VS TD

I'm probably a little biased cause I think Bo is overrated, even though still an amazing athlete, but that's another story.

I get it.... Blah blah highest ypc blah blah blah he split time with Marcus Allen blah blah tecmo bowl

Bo was the shyt, and naturally we assume Bo would've dominated, but we actually got to see TD dominate. He had more yards and tds as a rookie than Bo had in any year. Davis came in the league much younger... By the time he was the age Bo was as a rookie, Davis had over 4000 yards and 2 super bowl rings. As great as Bo ypc is, Davis had a higher one in the playoffs.

Comparing a system back to a genetic freak?
you trying to marginalize the player who had the most complete season (1998) since i started watching football in 1992?

the guy who dragged that horse toothed career loser to 2 rings?

there was a 2-year span when Terrell Davis was the best player in the league

a "system back" in a RB friendly system gives you 1,300 yds and 10 TD's
TD was far above system back status

When I see TD, I don't see anything extraordinary as a runner other than being a great plant one foot into the ground and hit the hole guy.

bo was the better back. of course td had the better career and if you take away the injuries he would have had the better career because bo was a part time player. even before the knee injury i wonder if davis was falling off, the first 4 games of 99 he had 67 carries 211 yards 3.1 ypc. sure its a small sample but prior to that season he never had more than a 2 game streak of less than 3.8 ypc then he goes 4 straight games before his knee gets injured.
