100% I agree he’s not. He’s just the biggest beneficiary cuz he’s this generation’s premiere artist. However, you can’t penalize him any further than the others for that

But this just going back to what bro said about not believing it. Take Care was huge but diamond albums from yesteryear felt different. Streaming is giving album sales extra legs

Views will probably go diamond eventually as well.

Facts that 30% of album... And most the best tracks too. Trust Issues was Abel too which Aubrey used heavily as promo and put on a different edition of album.

Not gonna argue your opinion of the Weeknd tracks being most of the best on take care. "Shot For Me" is one of my favorite songs ever. I will note that all of that album's very successful singles (Marvin's Room, Headlines, The Motto, Make Me Proud, Take Care, and HYFR) are all songs the Weeknd had nothing to do with. Maybe the album wouldn't be the masterpiece I feel it is, but I think he would have done well no matter what.

Also unless I have it wrong, Drake did Trust Issues after he did the "I'm on one" hook. Then Weeknd did his remix after.
