Had two more teeth removed yesterday. That makes 7 since 2019. They're all molars so you wouldn't know I had them removed unless I told you. So if you've been consistently seeing your dentist, keep it up. If you haven't been in a while you better fukking go

That goes for the Doctor too.:martin:

I hope you’re getting implants. You can ruin your front teeth by chewing too much on them, and if you have a missing bottom molar, your top molar will continue to grow down. I learned the hard way by not getting root canals when I was younger, and being too broke, and not having insurance when I was younger. I didn’t wear my retainers either when I had braces in high school, so my teeth shifted back. I’ve spent around $16,000 on Invisalign and implants to fix the damage I did in my 20s.

I'm more of a side chewer so I cut through the meat with canine, and then break it up more with premolars, and finish by smashing with my gums(which is bad too I know...). Plan is to get my wisdom teeth out, fill in the cavities and then get fitted for a partial. You sound just like my boy...he's spent around 12k so far on fixing his teeth. I really regret not taking my dental health more seriously...

Sounds like your dentist robbing you bruh
7 removed?
My teeth were obviously damaged. 2 sheered, 3 were rotten, 2 were completely hollowed out because I didn't get them crowned after root canals and they just ate away at themselves. They had to go. What incentive would my dentist have to pull healthy or salvageable teeth?

You know a lot of these dentists are straight up crooks, right? They pile on the drama and make it their business to steal your teeth and charge through the roof for the privilege.

A lot of them are truly heartless beings who pray on the ignorance of the clients as they have total freedom to say whatever they want/recommend and most people never get a second opinion. Also food has a lot to do with it, see Weston A Price for details.

Dem boys is ruthless and they'll have you toothless if you let em.

floss everyday and it'll solve a lot of dental issues. Especially before you go to bed. It was a post here months ago, talking about not rinsing your mouth after brushing to keep the fluoride in your mouth. Don't do that.
I've become a consistent flosser. I buy the GUM brand floss picks and floss after every meal.

True. I grew up in an neglectful environment, didn't see my first dentist until 17 and that was because I likely would have died if I didn't. I honestly lost count on the amount of money I spent restoring my teeth, people suggested I could have simply sued my parents for the damages but I was dumb enough to chalk it up to naivety. :yeshrug: Might seem like a basic thing, but if I have children, I would do everything to secure the basics, such as medical, dental, and the educational aspects, I feel that is the bare minimum you can do for a life that you introduce into the world. Learning from the sins of our fathers. :wow:
