i was listening to too short brehs. throwback sunday nikkas. and something just hit. it hit me very hard nikkas.

i'm 6ft 1. i always wanted to be 6ft 6-6ft 7 wing, so i can dunk on dudes. i was felt like damn i would've been a legit baller if i was that tall.
so it i kept thinking - what happens when you subtract 6-7 inches of great players height? would they still be great?
in most cases many great players minus 6 inch would become marginal at best. 6ft 6 Shaq would be like beefed up corliss williamson. 6ft 3 KD would be still be a great scorer, but he no longer becomes legit top 5 player. 6ft 5 dirk would be just a decent player who can shoot. so on.
but it just hit me that there is only 2 player who would've done better if they were actually shorter - who? who? who?
ANSWER = MAGIC & BIRD
MAGIC - magic at 6ft 2 - 6ft 3, would still be the GOAT PG. magic can still pass better than anybody and he would be a lethal defensive player at 6ft 2. magic was just too tall to be an effective defender. now he's shorter and more agile, he would be the greatest passer and a lockdown defender.

BIRD - bird at 6ft 3 would give magic a run for the greatest PG of all time. that cac so smart and creative with the basketball. He was clumsy defensively because he was too tall for his playing style. he would be pete maravich 2.0 with better basketball IQ.

WHAT ABOUT JORDAN AND BRON?
MJ - MJ at 6ft? he's a cross between westbrook and AI. HOFer, but he no longer the GOAT. MJ benefited from having a perfect ideal SG size with gigantic hands which gave him a godly body control. still gonna be a fun player to watch.

Bron - bron at 6ft 2? he would've been a decent PG, but that's about it brehs. athletic chris paul is what he would become. and we all know deep inside cp3 a flawed player acting like he's a superstar. Bron wouldn't be crowned as 'king' anymore. he would just be lebron james. he stays few years in college cuz he is good, but not that good. and when he enters the league he's athleticism will be similar to westbrook, but he would be challenged offensively. he can still pass like CP3, but at the end of the day without the killer instinct he becomes a very good allstar, but nothing more than that.

so who else can actually benefit from 6 inch height loss?
