Taking his injury into consideration, where do you rank KD?

Look, I'm not trying to bad mouth or "hate on" him but the competition is stiff.
So, ok, anyone familiar with the Bob Ryan/Bill Simmons "Martian Team" scenario
Or if you aren't, if you could chose any player RIGHT NOW for just ONE season to lead your team (so potential and age not taken into account as much)
What would be your big board?
I thought about this for a while and I love doing rankings but it's always tough to do these and I know a lot of people will shyt on my list or w/e but still thought it'd be fun.
So here it goes:

1. Steph Curry - I risk LeBron getting pissed at me for not taking him number one and putting up 40/15/10 but I'll take my chances. Curry has proven throughout the season and playoffs he's the best player RN to me.

2. LeBron James - Look he's done a great job carrying this Cavs team without love and with a hobbled Kyrie but lesbians, the role players have really stepped up and LeBrons individual performances haven't always been as spectacular as they were in the past. His athletic ability is starting to decline just a tad bit and that allows teams to contest hit outside shots that much more.

3. Anthony Davis - I mean the guy is unbelievable. One knock on him I don't hear enough though is he always seems to have injuries every season. Might be a concern down the line.

4. CP3 -:mjcry:

5. Harden - I don't like flopping either but hey it's effective :yeshrug:

6. :russ:

7. Kevin Durant - now this is the reason I made the thread and over the last 2 seasons when he was playing he's been the best player. He's gonna be 27 this year and 27/28 is the age most players have their best seasons. However, his health is really an issue, we saw what happened with :deadrose:. It's really really close between these 7 guys. They are all great players so you cant really go wrong, with Durant though his recent injury history is troubling. We've heard how much influence a bad foot injury can have on a players career and it really worries me. Maybe Durant stays healthy and wins another MVP but maybe he comes back not playing at the same level and is never quite the same. I'd rather not take the risk if I can get one of the 6 guys ahead of him :yeshrug: . If health is out of the equation, I'd put him number one and move everyone down a spot. Yes, :troll: at 3 but the top 7 is really close and almost interchangeable.

8. Blake Griffin - after the way he played in the playoffs I cant put him any lower

9. Kawhi Leonard

10. Tim Duncan - he might only play 30 min a game and 70 games but he will find a way to be a major contributor, is very consistent and still can dominate a playoff series(to an extent)

Bonus:
11. Draymond Green - I know I'll get killed for this pick but he is an X factor, i can find some scorer and distributor later down the line in this fantasy draft if I'm picking this late but there is no one quite like Draymond. He can guard all 5 positions, shoot 3s, is an excellent passer and pretty much the most versatile player in the NBA right now outside LeBron. He is a lot more important to the Warriors than Klay and i love Klay.

12. BOOGIE - incredible dominant talent and if you get him some solid talent and the team stays healthy I think he can make a playoff run at the very least. I've mentioned before that the Kings are my sleeper team next year if Collison, Gay and DMC stay healthy.

13. DeAndre Jordan - his FT shooting is really an issue but there isn't anyone who dominates the area around the hoop on both ends like DJ. If he played with a true stretch 4 (like draymond) I think he could be even more dominant, i could see him averaging 17 boards in the right situation. Unless last year was just a contract year.

14. John Wall - I wanted to put him higher but he still can't shoot and at this point probably never will so that makes him a little less valuable than his talent suggests.

After this it gets murky and I'd probably choose players based on need more than just pure talent.
I thought I might have been stanning the clippers a little with this list but i looked at the numbers and they back me up

Look thunder fans, I'm open to changing my mind, thinking outside the box and all that.. I'm sure there are people that follow the Thunder closer than I do so if y'all got some "proof" (articles, quotes, tweets etc) that KD's foot injury isn't as bad as it seems, LMj

CP0 4th? :neeeeeeww:

Not even reading the rest. Biggest fraudulent star in the league
Hey he outplayed Flopden on one leg
The rocket role players and Dwight won that series or alternatively the Clippers role players lost it.
CP0 could've done more so he isn't top 3 here but he still played great and makes an average team automatically 15-20 wins better

When healthy he's the 2nd best player in the league, and LeBron is still the best in the league.
I know that's the popular opinion.
But let me ask you 2 questions, who's been better in the playoffs (and the regular season for that matter) so far in your opinion?
Steph or James?
And what would it take for Steph to be ahead of LBJ, in your mind?
I ask you because I respect your opinion (as do many others on this board)

I need to see a full healthy season from him before I rank KD on any list for anything...

Do people not realize how serious his injury is...he has an injury that has claimed the career of many a big man in the NBA and KD HAS ALREADY FAILED TO COME BACK HEALTHY FROM THE INJURY ONCE...

If he come back healthy then KD goes right back into the top 5...

Harden should be higher than Cp3

and I'll take KD over Russell
Fair enough, i respect your opinion :myman:
But you don't think Paul outplayed Harden in that series? Harden shot 39% and had 5 TOs a game.
Paul put up 21/10 with a bad hammy 49% shooting and 2 TOs a game.
That's my take but I'm a Paul stan so I understan where you're coming from

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?

Steph has been an absolute monster, he and Blake were the best playoff performers so far.

Harden has been good, but Steph is playing at an incredible level right now, don't think people really appreciate what he's doing.
