I fukks with Demon Knight more, but David Alan Grier killed his abusive father role. I was like damn, how you go from Men On to that?! I remember him talking about struggling with the role because its so opposite of who he is. It was on Hard Copy or A Current Affair or something.

Gotta go with "Demon Knight" just based on the fact that it completely side swiped me, and the group of people I went with.

I spoke on this before but, back in the day if we were bored we'd go see a random movie. In some cases knowing basically nothing about it. Maybe we'd seen a trailer or commercial, maybe not.

Anyway, I was in there with 5-6 of my guys, and we were moderately entertained until Billy Zane put his fist through the cop's head. My whole row stood up like:

After that we were hooked.

I'm going with Tales from the Hood. You got David Allen Grier as the bad guy. Corbin Berson as the racist politician. Stacy & ole girl's cousin who got stomped out in Menace II Society, & Chicago as the dudes who killed Hakeem, and it was all taking place in hell???!!! The ending alone makes the movie piff!
