Xillia if you never played Kingdom Hearts at all. That was my favorite game I played last year.

like i said its a 12 year old game. i'm not gonna mince words here. Kingdom Hearts has a shyt plot that's borderline gibberish.
what the hell is Kingdom Hearts anyway? a giant door in the sky? the heart of the world? I've played most of the series and i can't even summarize the plot if asked to do so. the battle system is solid and it incorporates Disney worlds with Final Fantasy so that's why people like it.

The appeal of Kingdom Hearts is pretty obvious. Yes, the plot is trash but its not to the point where its a deal breaker.
no i was just saying why people think the game is good since the above poster didn't see why. i enjoy the games but i don't count the series as some type of greatly anticipated top tier RPG even if others do. the thing that gets me is a game like Final Fantasy XIII comes out and gets criticism for things wrong with it that Kingdom Hearts also has.
Kingdom Hearts "world" are very small and linear many of them don't have "HD Towns" and there isn't much exploration to be had. The game is also pretty linear, you can tackle the plot in different orders but for the most part you won't be strong enough to beat a given world unless you do them in a specific order also add to this the plot doesn't make any type of sense even if people properly explain it to you.
XIII had many of those problems and people defecated on it but Kingdom Hearts games have those problems and people ignore them because of Disney worlds that are like 10 rooms big.
