Tales of Zestiria listed for PS4, PC on Bandai Namco Singapore website

Mid-October release dates also listed.

Bandai Namco Singapore’s mobile website was updated briefly this morning with PlayStation 4 and PC listings for Tales of Zestiria.
The PlayStation 4 version was listed for an October 16 release, while the PC version was listed for October 20. Both listings have since been removed.
A PlayStation 4 release has been long-rumored. And a PC version was previously suggested by the game’s appearance in the Steam database.
With the Tales of Festival having come and gone without the port announcement (but we did get an entirely new game), we expect our next chance to hear about the new versions will be at E3 next week, or Anime Expo in July.

Only played about an hour, but it's pretty simplistic so far. Mash the Attack button or try to block. It feels like a 2004 PSP game:

I really wish they would either start making the combat in these action JRPGs something more akin to bayonetta or just go back to turn based. This in between stuff is just not fun.

This game is a step back from Xillia and Xillia 2. Disgaea 5 is better. The problem here is this game just comes across as generic. Everything from the cast, to the combat, to the story. Nothing stands out. I think Graces had a better cast, story, and combat system than this.

Its not a bad game it's just an ok one.If you've got the desire to play a game in the genre and don't wan't Disgaea 5 it'll do.

tales of graces has an EXCELLENT combat system, I'm surprised they didn't expand on that.
When I went from graces to xillia, I was actually taken aback because I couldn't understand why they'd left that system
behind.
IT was snappy, fun and if you really wanted to, you could get deep with it.

I want to pick this game up but if the reviews aren't good then IDK.

You played other Tales games?

Vesperia and Abyss are my favorites. Idk if you'd like the combat though. But I enjoyed them.

I played the ones back on PS2. and that's the problem. This one seems to have made no progress since like 15 years ago

Tales games are comfort food for JRPG players. They aren't about making progress. They never have been.

It definitely feels...off. I've only played for like a hour and change. Its hard to explain but it just doesn't feel as tight as other Tales games. I'm going to put more time into it though and see if it grows on me.

This is bad news, ive seen this same statement all over. But I thought Xilla was boring so im on the fence with this one. I already got Disgea 5 so im eating good but I really want to pick this up just not if its "ok"
