We're the ones who helped make it that bloodbath. We ultra-supplied much of the first 15 years of the war, then completely abandoned them when the Soviets helped them pull out and did nothing to help the country rebuild or recover, then unleashed nearly 20 more years of war on their asses when we didn't like how that went.
At this point I don't really know what the solution is. But it's pointless to keep bombing people who have already been bombed for 40 years. More violence ain't gonna change shyt.
