Hisense and TCL are the best LED brands now some of the 'advice' in the thread is years out of date

samsung and sonys non OLED shyt is all hot garbage (they dont try anymore) Hisense shyts on that

also speaking of OLED LG uses 11 year old OLED tech (W-OLED) that peaked in 2021 no one should be copping them anymore

Sony OLED uses to same old tech and is super expensive for no reason

when Samsungs QD-OLED shyts on it and is the same price as LG

Non OLED = Hisense or TCL

OLED = Samsung QD-OLED
I was saying the same thing to self. I have a series 6 TCL best tv I've ever had. Also, Hisense has higher ratings than TCL.

From what I read, TCL and Hisense is nipping at the heels of the major brands in terms of overall quality

Naw my C2 looks amazing. All these advances in tv tech be marginal at best. Samsung may have a nice screen but they are infamous for using cheap parts and their stuff be breaking for no reason

Sony is too expensive tho

Hisense is getting alot of pub now.

I'd say the drawback is probably the 60hz

Your budget is 1k why the fukk would waste it on a brand like Hisense?!

There should be plenty of interesting deals at that price range for black friday, especially if you don't want an OLED.

And even then, imo you should still buy an OLED. Burn-ins are not really an issue anymore.

They aren’t bad. I have a giant LG for the main room, we finally retired our bedroom Vizio to the guest room, and got a 55” oiled hisense for the bedroom. They aren’t bad at all. I think TLC and HiSense are some of the more reliable “low tier” brands, but Vizio will always be my most beloved, top dog “shytty” TV.

Edit: I wanted to add that every Vizio I’ve owned has been cheaper than most of the other similar tier TV’s, near indestructible, and seem to last forever. The guest BR Vizio has been hard at work since like 2017-18
