What do you have now? you could always mod it to get that new car feel.

New, used or certified pre-owned? And random aside, the Challenger convertible if you can get it for sticker, may end up being a collectors item at some point (if you get a scat pack or higher).

Two questions: is the GTI giving you trouble or are your tired of the maintenance costs/trading it in? And is this going to be a daily driver or a car that's a toy?

I have a 2020 challenger scat pack with low miles. Not my daily. Actually gets good gas mileage on the highway ( easily 24 mpg) for what it is. Very fun car with some old school muscle car vibes. I know now they got a stigma but I don’t care. I’m keeping mine.
If you really like it and plan on keeping it, go for it. Also, if you can easily afford it as well. I'd say go for a brand new one if you can find it.
