Tamar Braxton Says It’s Not Really Vince’s Business That Son Logan Shares Bed With Her And New Boyfriend

During a live feed conversation in the Big Brother house, cast members Tamar Braxton and Kandi Burruss had a discussion about the efforts they’ve made and struggle it has been to provide structure for their kids. One way of doing so that the women touched on was pushing their children to sleep in their own beds. While Kandi’s daughter, Riley, who is now 16, was able to sleep alone at a relatively young age, Tamar admitted that son Logan still sleeps with her — and when he’s around, with Tamar’s boyfriend (whose name we still don’t know, but whom she jokingly refers to as T’Challa, i.e., Black Panther).
“See Logan’s 5. He be in the bed with me and T’Challa!” she said.
When Kandi asked if Tamar’s estranged husband, Vincent Herbert, ever gets upset about their son being in the same bed with Tamar’s new partner, she said it’s not his business to get upset about.
“We not together! That’s not really his business,” she said. “And if [Logan] did that with somebody that [Vince] looked like he was getting ready to get married to, why would I act a fool? I would want him to be close to her.”
For the record, Tamar said that she and her boyfriend, who we know is Nigerian, was educated at the Harvard Business School and has a pretty nice body, have been dating for six months. He’s 49, she’s 41, and she said that when Logan does share a bed with them, he’s next to her — not near her man.
“He’ll come in and scoot me over,” she said. “I don’t play that. I don’t mess around with my kids. We live in an apartment, it’s not like I’m in my house.”
This isn’t the first time Tamar has spoken about certain things not being Vince’s business. When being interviewed for Raq’s Rants recently, Tamar said “he ain’t my daddy” when it came to her choice to move on and start dating before her divorce was finalized. However, she did say that Vince couldn’t bring just anybody around Logan, like a “video vixen” for example.
“Don’t play with me like that. Because if you fall in love with a video vixen you’re going to want the video vixen around my kid and now I got to bust you in the face,” she joked. “Don’t play with me like that. What are we doing?!”
