Yea let's rehash, tearing down the black man, for the millionth time. :mjpls:

Restore the energy...:mjpls:

I was a kid when this happened 10-11ish (already watchin MTV). Back when, any black person, on MTV, would automatically, be associated, with being a "hip-hip-hoppeter".:mjpls:

They were on his head when this happened, really trying to demonize him. That cac Beth, was on her "Karen" shyt, then. :mjpls:

I'm pretty sure they revisited this shyt, in the early 2000s too. These cacs are funny. :camby:

And also they still have a bunch of the Beth fukkery to unravel.

Beth actually looks better in her 50s than when she was in her 20s. :pachaha:

True. She seems to stuck on people not liking her so some drama will follow.

Also on the preview it seemed like Tami husband went into house to get at David. :lupe::heh::merchant:

Was it that serious to have brought it back up 30 years later? Like, you mean to tell me after ALL of the shows Tami's done, this incident still makes her angry? Get outta here.

This thread just made me realize how much of an anomaly Jersey Shore is in the world of reality shows.

I'm assuming most of them just cast random people every season and that's it. It just ends up being another job for most of them. But with Jersey Shore, they literally got the same people to come back each season. It bonded them together and made them into a genuine family (the Italian in them helped as well......).

I say this because whenever the cast looks back at moments like in the OP, they either make it into a meme or they just own up to what it is and move on. I would assume if they only knew each other one time 27 years ago, it would be more awkward but it's not. In some cases, it's treated seriously like with Mike, but that's because the cast genuinely disliked him and he made a huge transformation between the original series and the reboot, becoming arguably the most beloved cast member.

So it's definitely :gucci: to see members of a reality show look at their previous antics and be disgusted by them.

I see a lot if points in here and interesting convo.

I literally just finished watching this ep.

I will say this.

David was wrong in that moment for being an a$$hole, laughing and kinda saying “fukk your forgiveness” to Tami.

On one end I kinda do get what he’s saying but woman are woman and the moment they say “parties over” as a a man. You have to acknowledge it, respect it and pivot.

Cuz the law and court of public opinion/perception is NOT on our side

The way he was just laughing up and kee keeing wasn’t it at that moment while everyone else in the room was uncomfortable and emotional.

He could’ve deaded the situation right there and came out better but he chose to scorch the earth

Tami was over it and was ready to dead the issue after three decades, until David said "fukk your feelings" Dude is an a$$hole or an idiot if he could not properly access the incident from her perspective. It really was pretty simple to understand what Tami was saying and just apologize to her. Yeah I know that whole incident ruined his comedy/acting career but these are the breaks.
