i was gonna say she was but in the last 10 years i'd say teedra has been and only because of that debut album. that debut of teedra's was better than all of tamia's last few albums ("more, "between friends", and "beautiful surprise") of the last 10 years. now, that isn't to say that tamia's album haven't been great because they have been but they weren't as great as teedra's complex simplicity album
but tamia is one of my favorite singers. i love me some her
she was holdin' down in the late 90's for r&b to me. i remember i had the single (in addition to the albums) cd for "imagination" and the remix acapella versions too; great times, bruh. great times 
and who could forget this classic?!

"officially missing" is a classic to me. it's a very well written song, great songwritin'. this performance of her's is beautiful
it'd be really nice if she did like an unplugged album. tamia is underrated and has such a beautiful voice. she still sounds so great too
