nikka just stated the truth, white folks out here putting effort into supporting the artist they love, while nikkas out here putting effort into hating on the artist they dislike, and illegally downloading the artist that they "love"

He should know by now his best hope is money through touring. Female black r&b artists are seeing decent sales but I'd imagine many of the guys aren't. Chris Brown bombed with a #1 single, if he can't do it what hope does Tank have.
This, plus add to the fact there aren't many young dudes making good R&B music. Tank doesn't cater to a young demo. It's also why dudes his age in other genres aren't nevessarily making videos and selling albums. The young R&B white acts like adele and Sam smith actually cater to a younger audience because there YOUNG.
Now if he wants to complain about the style if music he makes and why it's not selling, I'm not buying the skin color thing. Young black artist the same age as a adele and them aren't selling, I'll go on record saying the songs aren't that good. A lot of of the younger generations R&B records suck. They end up all over the place sonically with no cohesive sound; trying to cater to too many crowds... Now add that to the over sexual lyrics abd u have a recipe that's not as successful as a Bruno, Sam Smith...etc
Its metrics though....we are 15% of the general population.
If we were 70% of the nation. Black artists would go plat every single time and we'd dominate Hollywood/corporate america and nooooooooooooooo cops would even dream of shooting a black kid.

Probably not considering the majority of sales that black artist do get aren't even from blacks.
It's a cop out. nikkas don't buy albums like whites do period. I bought every retail project that moved me this year. Even little small artist that sell they projects through bandcamp, how many nikkas on here can say the same.
Albums cost the same as a McDonald's meal but nikkas wanna make excuse on why they can't support an artist.
I never got into tank's music...
That's based on what its like today. Having power in numbers means everything would serve and cater to black peoples interests.
