Moments like these a nikka glad he from the islands. This "news" doesn't reach our beautiful sandy shores.

:ahh:

I don't know nor have I ever met a real life Lil (we not bout to disrespect the Godson) X fan
:skip: Me neither.

I want to speak to the 'American blacks are the only...' If you're honest with yourself, you'll see the same pattern repeats wherever we've been colonized: 98% of us are disgusted, 2% of us make a living selling ass to wm.

Any difference you see here is due to some very concerted efforts over the last 20 years, as explained by @videogamestashbox.com's fact-filled drop. Yet and still, despite all that effort and the media assault, black americans remain the recalcitrant ones. We not with it.

Ie,

The response to the news [of his fakkitry] was mostly positive, but also garnered a large amount of homophobic backlash on social media, to which Lil Nas X also reacted.[148][150] The backlash also came from the hip hop community, drawing attention to homophobia in hip hop culture.[150][151]

Ie,

Yeah. Was looking at his wikipedia page and I can't at all deny that there's an agenda going on to push him. Someone was saying his numbers show he's here to stay and that he has a fanbase, but to be honest his numbers aren't at all that impressive far as chart positions and in this streaming era, it's easier than ever to hit Platinum record sales.

Just as an example, NBA YoungBoy has far more success as an artist. Just about every commercial mixtape he's had has gone #1, but he has no where near the obvious industry push that Lil *** X has. Dude is the most listened to artist on YouTube, but has only ever been nominated twice for an award despite being in the game longer.

But there isn't an agenda tho :comeon:

I said the same shyt in the other thread.

The white boy in jail with hoes.

Black men in jail twerking naked and wearing lip gloss

But black people dont really care about our collective image so it doesnt matter.

Like Kevin Samuels says - these images wouldnt be possible if black people didnt willingly take the role for money.

fukk it :yeshrug:
You been dropping good post last few days l, if only I could rep twice.

Yep. On the low Youngboy is one of the hottest rappers out, but he doesn't do press so the machine doesn't fukk with him.

To prove a point Lil Uzi Vert is extremely popular and he's even "metrosexual" sells a ton of records yet no mainstream love.

Clout only works so long I predict when the average person sees the obvious push for him they'll be a backlash. The same already happened to H.E.R. and it's gonna happen to Meg the Stallion too. No one wants to feel like someone is being pushed to them.

He dates women that's the issue.

My point is the machine backs who they want to back Yung Thug was saying all kinds of sus shyt and it was allowed, but this is the first time someone's essentially saying If you don't like me you're homophobic. I mean everyone celebrated Frank Ocean when he came out (except the women) and he didn't use his orientation for clout. Nor did he say that women were homophobic for not supporting him.
