In response to this thread: Tariq lied to his stupid ass base. Black unemployment is at 7.2% w/ their king, Donal Trump

Its funny how tethers try to Blame Tariq for everything instead of taking accountability for their actions. :stopitslime: Before Tariq it was Yvette and Tone and before them it was Claud Anderson and before Claude there were several underground personalities that shared similar viewpoints.:ehh: The average Black American knows that Tariq puts the bag first. But he's very resourceful and entertaining and most of all he's a Black American like us so we will support him as long as he delivers our message.:manny: You tethers think Tariq brainwashed us into imagining almost 30 years of disrespect from tethers?:mjlol: All Tariq really did was provide a national stage for Black Americans across the country with nationalist views that are tired of goofy Tethers talking reckless on our home turf to connect with each other and realize "Breh I knew I wasn't tripping. I ain't alone in how I feel". Tariq Nasheed could D*E tomorrow and Black Americans would continue to delineate. The movement is beyond viral at this point. My 80 year old relative DOES NOT know who Tariq Nasheed is but i overheard her uttering something about Foundational Black Americans the other day:francis: I honestly just chuckled to myself because its quite ridiculous when you look at it from a certain point of view but it shows what happens when you look a gift horse in the mouth and think shyt is sweet for decades. You can Blame Tariq if that helps you cope but Y'all don't seem to understand that Tariq is just the beginning. Pan africanism in the US is almost dead (And when it dies here it will die internationally short after because pan africanism can't be held under any culture except Black American culture. The cat is out of the Bag. The free ride is over.

Southern disrespect be rough cuz you can't pin it down, they seem so nice. :mjlol:

Being foundational or a descendant of slavery is not a new phenomenon. This has been written about and discussed since the early 1900s. There are multiple books and studies about this. It’s an established fact that black people with roots here in America are fundamentally different than those from other places.

However, that isn’t Tariq’s brand. His brand is jokey jokes, ignorance, and shilling for republicans. If he were to go away, his imprint among online black people would also go away because they don’t think, write, or talk for themselves.

You can read posts on here and find that their language and politics is a literal verbatim thought from a video or Twitter space.

Even the initial OP in this thread is directly from Tariq. There’s no scholarship or actual meaningful points about being foundational and what it means and how we can continue to shape our culture in the future; it’s just hardcore fanboy posting under the guise of being productive :mjlol:

“W-w-we know Tariq puts the bag first” meaning “I know he’s a shill and does anything for money, but at least he be talking about what I like to hear” :pachaha: Go pick up a book and really do the knowledge on being foundational to this country instead of listening to a 50+ year old man lie and argue all day like he’s in a hair salon.

How else should we respond to ppl draped in our cultural wear, speaking our language, and shytting on us all over the internet for lulz? We talking whole channels dedicated to denigrating us, while eating off us; whole 'black' politicians who made their career off us, shytting on us, trynna steal reparations in real proceedings; a whole CBC subverted against our needs. Drakes all up and through our culture.

That's all they deserve. They lucky we not doing more. FOH.
