I parted ways with Tariq just before he became Tariq Elite but looking at him now it does seem like his hustle is ever evolving. He came a long way from teaching fatherless kids how to pick up women.

I always thought he was a salesman though. There's nothing wrong with being that but it kinda seems like the portrayal is about being more than a salesman. It's like how corporations pretend they are about more than making shareholders money.

I was raised by a black business owner and helped run it. I have always supported black businesses. I buy most of my suits at black owned boutique shops in Detroit (which btw are being pushed out the city by gentrification).I volunteer at my local Big Brother Big Sister program and am often the only black man there. I attend profession sessions at local high schools where I go and explain my job, how I got into my position, etc. Kids aren't as interested in Michigan as they were when I did this in Cali and worked in the music industry, but it's still a good way to show kids they can DO something. A lot of kids have no idea what many professions are...and showing them that it's normal ass shyt that they can accomplish is very important.
