there's still one more episode. They'll likely book end everything on Sunday. They did the same thing with Mare.They did too much with this ending. My biggest gripe is they didn’t wrap everything up. This don’t need a second season.

Some missteps aside I really enjoyed this episode. Like others I felt they spent too much time on Sam being kidnapped then it got brushed aside pretty quickly once they realized he was okay. It maybe should have been handled earlier in the season but I guess we would have gotten less Maeve who did her thing in this show I feel.
A lot of great acting hampered a little by some of the action choices and story, but still an incredible watch for me.

Damn bruh you made it through 2 hobbit movies?
On the real tho I agree, the last 2 episodes felt rushed imo. Not even sure what this show is about anymore. Now its about Grasso being a mole. OK. What else? Jayson and other dude gonna go after Maeve? She has that loot she better get the hell out of town. Idk. Decent show but it kind of lost its way.

idk how reliable Bill Simmons is on topics like this, but he saying there are rumors of a S2 happening. Idk what that means though.

S2 with Ruffalo or they go the true detective route and S2 with whole new cast.
I’d be fine with Ruffalo leading a new task force every season, or a whole new cast.
He just can’t be picking up kids like stay cats every season or I’m out.
They said the same things about Mare as it was wrapping up. They'll more likely just do another story set in the same area.
Task showed me that the problem with Ser Christon on HOTD isn't the actor. It's the writing.

The whole woods scene was not done very well.
I agree with other posters saying that the pacing was poor. I thought it was the worst episode of the series so far in all honesty.
