We not useless seems like your skin is the problem not coli nikkas:mjpls:

You can just google the answer it's dark people with tattooos I don't get your problem. If you watch the nba or nfl you see these nikkas jumping 5 feet in the area and running like flash they don't have any problems because of their tatts.

Spend some time on Instagram - looking at artists, and Pinterest to look at execution on your skin tone. PAY UP for your ink, don't go to the local hood spot everyone rolls to. Find a really good artist, if you're in a major metro, A-caliber artists are hitting for at least $100/hr and up. There's such a huge difference in the quality of my tats that I got at 16-20 from randos and the ones I've gotten at 23+ from high quality artists - I'm not dark, but just being black in general makes a difference in how tats comes out so go to someone with good work and technique

Black ink, and honestly that's not up to you, your artist is the expert and will advise you accordingly. But if you're real dark, forget color, your work should be in high quality black ink, pay attention to line work, cuz as someone dark, that's what's going to really frame your tat and make sure it stays tight over the years.

Edit: this is what I mean by line work - crisp lines, shading, dimension - as a female, I like light lines, but size of the line doesn't change what the execution should be.
