To have to go out on the road to avoid elimination and perform like that is like the final boss level. That’s the stuff the real legends are made of. If Tatum goes on to win the championship we are gonna be talking about this game the same way we talk about Bron’s game 6.

But who did it better?

Bron eviscerated the Celtics. Laid the smackdown and the game was really over within the first 5 mins. Bron had 45 points with 10 mins to go...but he really could have had 60 the way he was going

Unlike Bron Tatum was not the undisputed best player on the floor but he went head up with the best player in the league playing at his zenith and Tatum not only matches it but exceeds it. That was some legendary shyt

So who has the crown for most impressive game 6?

Bron did it with more pressure and expectation on his shoulder and with most basketball heads rooting for him to fail, in an arena and vs a team he'd previously failed to beat. It was more impressive for that reason...

Tatum has been frustrating to watch this series but that game last night was the stuff legends are made from. Giannis had what, 44, but he was outplayed by Tatum, period, and its no small task to outplay Giannis. That's the first game all series he outplayed him. He gonna have to do it again tomorrow afternoon, Giannis is averaging 35/14 in this series so you can go ahead and pencil that line in for him, he gonna have a huge fukking game again. Tatum gonna have to go for 35+ too, he has to cancel out the points with Giannis again...

But I agree, if Boston closes this year with a title that G6 will go down in lore as Tatum's "flip the switch" moment...

Tatum performance was better. Clear underdog going up against a generational talent in his prime in giannis after blowing a game 5 lead. To bounce back and show up like that was a legendary mark on his jacket.

Lebron was on a superteam clearly better than the celtics jumping a bunch of old guys past their prime. Only reason it was even close was because lebron was still shaking off the "haven't won a title" monkey off his back and learning how to win.

Giannis also had 20 rebs 6 asts 1 stl and 2 blks. Tatum didnt outplay him. He just matched giannis' points which allowed his role players to outplay the bucks

Nah Tatum was in a different zone, he outscored him in the 4th and more importantly made more significant clutch buckets. Giannis kept getting to the line and hit a big 3 but Tatum made shot after shot, he outplayed him. Giannis' ability to go for 44 while being off most of the game is a testament to hoe dominant he is, but he was outta sorts, he had 6 turnovers, 3 fouls thru the first half and 4 thru 3, blew a couple layups. Tatum was just crisper all game...

Tatum is gonna need to match points with him tomorrow too though...

Bron game

And it's not close

That was best game lebron ever played

They was down 3 to 2

To Boston on the road

Lebron came up small in finals the year before and he played unbelievable he shot like 70 percent and they won in a blowout

It was unreal how he went post perimeter and drove on them non stop

It captitulted him to back to back championships and the player he became after

Tatum was under no pressure to win this game he 24 in ur 5 bron was 27 in year 9
