I do mines myself on turbo tax.

I mean, if you're just a regular person with a regular 9-5, theres really no extra money to get.

The only reason I take my taxes to the person that I take them to is because she's my cousin and she has a degree in accounting. $40 and I'm good. She hooked me up last year. I was gonna owe $2,700 and when she got done with it, I ended up owing $50. But I been going to her for years and when people try to use her for some underhanded stuff she tells them outright, "well you need to get someone else to do that because I'm not going down for you".

$300? Jesus.

If you own a small business, or have rental properties, or capital gains / losses, or some other form of passive income, it could be worth it.

If you just work a 9/5, then seek other options.

Edit: Or if this person is willing to do illegal shyt to get you more money, that could be worth it too, but I'd never pay $300 for a legit tax preparation and I have all kinds of secondary income streams.
