Must be nice to turn up like this without having Military grade weapons fired at your ass before you even made it to the highway :wow:
breh if you see in the videos the taxis blocked off the entire side of the highway while throwing tires at drives on the other side :dwillhuh:

if this was the US a tank would have rolled over them already

Ya know, I might sound like a stereotyping cac, but something I've noticed is a lot of those taxi drivers appear to be of Middle Eastern descent. The clip in the OP it's hard to tell as it's filmed from a pretty good distance, and they might all be white for all I know. Still, other articles, photos, clips related to this ongoing issue for the past year or so showed mostly men of Middle Eastern descent.

They should be protesting their employers/contractors for locking them into crappy situations. Or just quit and Uber full time.

good point :jbhmm:

however stories ive heard in the US dont have the same stigma

arabs are in trouble in europe though in general, i just get the feeling those countries are gonna say "freedom liberty be damned" and drive them out. It sounds barbaric etc but there is overwhelming support that i havent seen in years

Yeah I think in Europe there's a combination of systemic racism which we're quite familiar with here in the US. In addition to that, at least from what I can tell with the way the media presents it, folks of Middle Eastern descent are making little to no attempt at assimilation. Granted, to be honest with you, I have mixed feelings on the subject considering these same Europeans that are complaining, bear responsibility for why those folks are there in the first place, primarily colonialism. I feel sorry for the victims in Paris, but the country of France is ultimately reaping what they've sewn. Still, that old saying about when it Rome, you do as the Romans comes to mind, but far too many Middle Eastern folk don't go along with that line of reasoning. Their definition of protest is markedly different from most people and they're wearing out their welcome throughout Europe.
