Tbh, it’s really kinda sad how many comedians are really depressed.

Yeah, I was gonna say I thought that Kevin Hart was the only happy comedian then I remembered he grew up poor, his father was a drug addict, and his mother died of cancer. He's also a work a-holic who's come from all of that and has the pressure of people's livelihoods on him. He is a role model with an image to portray of always being positive and it has recently taken a slight hit. Who knows how he would sound if he truly vented

What sparked this thread OP? It's true though most comedians are depressed, intelligent, tortured souls. Just look in their eyes or at their faces. People laugh at the truth that their telling because it'll hurt to really think about it further.

I had a friend who had to make a joke out of everything, was just like that. In retrospect i couldn't stand that guy. Always had to take aim at other people's insecurities. Be miserable brehs
