we was reading some play in my class that had a bunch of "nikkas" in it and I was waiting for the prof to call on a white person to read one of them :dead:

shyt is uncomfortable for real, especially since I usually have max 2 other black kids in my classes

My freshman year of high school we had a joint Phys Ed./Health class where we'd split time between the gym and classroom. One day in a classroom session our teacher (a white lady in her fifties I'd guess) went on this rant about how Black people shouldn't be "allowed" to say "nikka/er" if white people weren't "allowed" to. And this is in a 85-90% Black school, and there was probably only one white kid in the classroom at the time. Worst public school in the county as well.

People in that classroom went off on her, lol.

I've been in that situation before. Its mad uncomfortable. I'm about to graduate having gone through nearly all my english classes as the only black guy in the group.
