Might be wrong forum but what you guys think about school districts that have 100+ teacher openings,teachers are quitting left and right. Its bad to point where school bus drivers are actually becoming susbtitutes. How do yall non home schooling parents send your kids to school knowing schools are a mess.Public or Private must admit this school year coming up is pivotal for the future.

lol and its gonna get worse, in particularly FL. I saw a anti-mask at school protester with a sign that said "teachers aren't co parents". Which is hilarious, cause clearly these parents are depending on these teachers to watch them for over 8+ hours out the day and teach those jits to read/write.

somebody at one of the career fairs brought this up to me it's a program called troops to teachers talking about they need brothers to teach high school....I respect anyone who has the patience to deal with children for the amount of pay they receive but I damn sure wouldn't teach high school. I remember how I was when I was in school and I know I wouldn't deal with it.

So much respect to those who can toe that line...I'd apply for the fire academy at 40 before I became a teacher.

Kids were bad when I was in school over a decade ago. Now when everything being done for clout and social media I’m sure the worst ones are 3x worse. I couldn’t do it. I’d end up in jail

Its like nursing. Underpaid, high stress, understaffed, high liability (for different reasons).
