A Florida teacher has been suspended without pay after officials say she threw an ugly sweater party in which students were drinking and smoking marijuana while she gave them sex tips, according to Bay News 9.
Reports say that Josephine Breviario from Citrus County High School hosted the party on Dec. 12 and since the official complaint was filed on Dec. 15 the district has interviewed 15 students who said they were at the party. The decision was made on Tuesday to suspend her without pay.
Investigators say about 40 students were at the party, six of whom were too drunk to drive home so they had to spend the night. Breviario admitted to hosting the party but said she didn't do anything wrong.
Investigators say students told them there was alcohol and marijuana at the party and that Breviario discussed her sex life, which included giving students sexual performance tips. It's unclear who provided the alcohol and marijuana.
ABC Action News also reports that a Snapchat video showed Breviario wearing a student's jacket as she slurred her words.
