GI Joe shyt is stupid but it's not like that has anything to do with the Rock specifically or his drawing power. If they were worried about getting crushed at the box office, they would just release it in August like they did last time (when the summer season is slowing down).
I have read there's only a few places that can do 3D conversion, and there are 3D movies lined-up before GI Joe, so that's why it's going to take so long.
Personally, I don't see the point in filming a movie without 3D in mind and then going back to convert it though.

I agree, the 3D shyt was just an excuse, they didn't want to get crushed at the box office, Battleship bombing had them jew cacs shook. But the Rock really not there yet to carry that large a movie, maybe in an year or 2

This one looks better since they pretty much blew-up everyone in the original cast. I think Duke is still in it, and Duke's always been my boy but the guy that plays him sucks. He looks like a fratboy douchebag in everything he does. They got that boy in a new movie now trying to be a stripper.
