Yes. If they don’t commit, it’s easier. You’d rather have someone tell you they can’t make an event rather than RSVP and then just not show up. It’s better to know what your options are. If the plan is to just let everyone decide when they feel like going, don’t have an organization to make these decisions.

The US did enough to qualify, but then Kobe is right. Get used to losing these tournaments because most everyone else is gonna do their best.
