I dont even like doing this because i like both shows but compare that combat jack episode to juan epstein's interview...the vibe is totally different....it's like this dude Cipha Sounds takes pride in not doing research on his guests...how do you have a guest on your show and tell them "I don't listen to your music or "I don't know anything about you"?..show some respect to the guests...ya'll need them they dont need yall...you would think Cipha and Peter was the ones with the Fortune 500 company and not Tech..in fact, I give more credit to Peter because he actually does the knowledge but Cipha gotta keep that shyt to himself

yeah i didn't like the Juan Ep interview, all Peter wanted to talk about was dumb shyt and Cipha didn't know shyt about Tech and he was happy about it. Juan Ep really fell off a long time ago between the sporadic episodes, ridiculous guests like Asher Roth just because he's Rosenberg's bum buddy, The Dream, Rhys Darby. Rosenberg usually finds a way to talk about Midnight Marauders being his fav alnbum cos he got his first kiss/piece of p*ssy to it and he's openly slobbering on the guests knobs no matter who it is and whether he actually listens to them or not. Ciph only knows about Lil Kim and Fat Beats, most other things he's completely ignorant except ranting about The Bronx or Ricans.

Listening now. This is dope, but I hate how the interviewers keep cutting him off mid story to ask him another question. I'm diggin' the story he's telling, then they start going somewhere else.

Between ebro being this fake hiphop is dead troll and Peter being a nerdy underground head who things everyone and their mama shoulda worked with premo/dilla its annoying as hell. I like those producers but they're not for everybody. Then u got ciph whose just in the middle. Don't do no research but interviews them anyway. I don't like combat jack either. He dikk rides the guest and constantly cuts them off to ask a question that might be off topic at times. And he constantly rides Jay-Z hard too which is annoying also. I just listen for the guests and stories. I like Jean grae on there though.

I noticed that his new shyt is bringing up the fact that he plays 45's every episode but fans must've checked him about that cause I haven't heard him mention it in a while. My problem with Peter is he always finds someway to flip the interview into being about himself or his personal life. He had Mack Wilds on and instead of asking him about his new album, which is dope, he calls his wife and argues with the contractor thats installing tiles in his house.

With Combat the positives greatly outweigh the negatives. The only episode I thought that Combat was on some "dikkriding" shyt was in the DMC and BDK episodes but those were like idols to the dude so I can't fault him for being overly excited. They still cut off guests on the show sometimes but not as frequent as before. The fans complained, me being one of them, and they listened. I give the CJS crew that. They really listen to the fans. About the Jay-Z shyt I think dude has a love-hate relationship with Jay. On one hand I hear him criticizing Jay but in other instances I hear him praising Jay-Z.
