technology in sports: A good addition or bad?

while watching the first week of football, i got annoyed by the number of tablets and computers the players had access to during the game.

It's ridiculous how technology has become a huge role in strategy while the game is being played. Each player had like 10 tablets around them, and each tablet had the plays they/the opposition ran. You saw the offensive coach telling Brady what was working and what wasn't. To me it just diminishes the integrity of the game, and the players ability to play since they are being told what to do with the help of the computers.

Just a rant, but what do others think? Is it good addition or not?

Computers, tablets, smartphones have been used to help kids learn in school and young adults in college. Can add new ways to think of the material plus it saves paper.

Why should they have to stay stuck with the black and white printouts of stuff like they used to in the 90s?

how are they relying on the computer? That's like saying they relied on the 8x11 printout. All it does is show them the picture of the opposition. It isn't making any decisions
