Technology hasn't just changed humans psychologically, but according to a new study, our smartphones are also changing us physiologically as well. Researchers are claiming that hornlike spikes are developing on the back of the heads of teens and point to excessive looking at smartphone screens as the culprit. The researchers at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia whose paper has shed light on this development suggest that modern technology has completely shifted the body's posture.

The paper puts forth the idea that handheld devices force people to contort their bodies in order to comfortably use them and the physiological changes are far more pronounced in children and teens.

trying not to OD on small screens, but i already know computers and desk life have taken a toll on my body. posture isn't as good, tight hip flexors and hams, knots in shoulders, tight pecs, weak wrist :wrist:....trying to combat it tho, stay on gym life, walks, monthly massage, weekly yoga, and standing desk. i need to start foam rolling as well
