Just like how Tekken 7 was announced in late 2015, but didnt drop on consoles until June 2017.

An early 2024 release date sounds legit.

Bandai Namco Announces Tekken 8 Could Release in 2023

Bandai Namco has announced during its financial earnings call that Tekken 8 could release in 2023 [or later].

During Bandai Namco’s latest earnings call, the publisher announced Tekken 8 could launch in 2023.

One investor, who asked Bandai Namco if the company had any games releasing in 2023 that provides a “new experience value” like Elden Ring received the response, “We are planning a large number of projects. Tekken 8 is also under development with the aim of launching in fiscal 2023 or later.”

The response indicates that Tekken 8 will release sometime after March 31, 2023.

Unfortunately, Tekken releases have been fairly sporadic over the years, released in different months in their respective years. Tekken 7 was released in June, whereas Tekken 6 was released in October, which implies there isn’t a trend (like Call of Duty releasing in the holidays every year) of when we can expect Tekken 8.
