Tiger Woods may have been lying through his teeth tooth ... because race organizers at a World Cup alpine skiing race in Italy say Tiger's story about being smacked in the face by a photog is BULL.
After photos started circulating of Tiger sans front tooth ... Woods' agent issued a statement saying the golfer was caught in a photog crush and his tooth was knocked out when he was accidentally smacked in the face by a camera.
Curiously, there was no video or photos of the alleged accident ... and Tiger's mouth didn't appear bloody or swollen.
Now ... Nicola Colli, the secretary general of the race organizing committee, told the AP, "I was among those who escorted him from the tent to the snowmobile and there was no such incident."
Colli also says Tiger asked for more security when he arrived -- so police were looking after both him and his GF Lindsey Vonn at all times.
So how did Tiger really lose the tooth? All signs point to Elin ...
